Activated Carbon

Activated carbon has small pores that increase its internal surface area which makes it highly suitable for adsorption and chemical reactions.  

PURE coconut granule activated carbon (Pure GAC) 100% coconut shell based activated carbo. It is refined through carbonization, activation, selection, crushing, screening, rinsing and drying. The appearance of Pure GAC is black and in granular form. It shares excellence porous structure, high performance in adsorption, high abrasion number, easy regeneration, economy and durable. It is highly recommended to be used for drinking water treatment, water purification, drinking water decolorization, deodorization, removal of organic matter and residual chlorine etc. It complies with the sanitary requirements of《Standard for health and safety assessment of drinking water and water distribution equipment and protective materials for drinking water》(生活饮用水输配水设备及防护材料卫生安全评价规范)(2001).

PURE GAC met with the requirement of NSF / ANSI 61. Various granular sizes are available, including: 8x30, 8x16, 6x12, 30x60, 12x40, 12x30, 60x200, 50x100, 80x200, 80x325, etc. Different Iodine value GAC are also available including: 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1050, 1200. Packaging specifications can be customized as required.
